The 8th Session of the Seychelles-Mauritius Commission on Bilateral Cooperation (SMCBC) ended on 10 July 2008. Both governments have agreed to support each other and strengthen cooperation, giving a boost to the bilateral relations.

Specific areas in which they agreed to work together include the Aid for Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement.
